Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Barley flour
  • ½ cup Jaggery powder
  • 3 tbsp Ghee plus 1 tbsp for roasting
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a deep-bottomed pan or wok.
  • Add the barley flour to the pan and roast it on low flame, stirring continuously for about 2 minutes until it turns fragrant and slightly golden. Once done, transfer it to a separate bowl.
  • Add 1/2 cup of jaggery powder and 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder to the roasted barley flour.
  • Mix the ingredients well and gradually add two tbsp of ghee at room temperature.
  • Blend all the ingredients together until they form a homogeneous mixture.
  • Start shaping the mixture into laddus by taking small portions and pressing them between your palms. If the mixture doesn’t bind well, add some more ghee.
  • Store the laddus in an airtight container and serve them as delightful and healthy snacks.
