Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Bottle Gourd cubed
  • 1.5 tsp Moong Dal (yellow split yellow lentils)
  • 2 Onions small
  • 1 clove Garlic small
  • ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Ghee clarified butter

Instructions
 

  • Wash, peel, and chop the bottle gourd. Rinse the moong dal and set aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, onions, and garlic. Saute until translucent.
  • Add moong dal and bottle gourd to the pressure cooker. Stir well. Pour in 1 cup of water. Close the cooker and cook for two whistles on medium-low heat.
  • Once pressure is released, transfer cooked ingredients to a blender. Blend into a smooth puree. Serve warm to your kids.
