Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup dalia broken wheat
  • ½ cup toor dal split pigeon peas
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 tsp Carrots chopped
  • 2 tsp Beetroot chopped
  • 2 tsp Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Tomato chopped
  • pinch Pepper powder
  • pinch turmeric powder
  • pinch Jeera powder
  • tsp Tamarind puree
  • 2.5 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Soak 1/2 cup dalia and 1/2 cup toor dal for 1 hour.
  • Saute chopped carrots, beetroot, onions, and tomatoes in ghee for 5 minutes.
  • Add spices and tamarind puree. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Mix in soaked dal, dalia, and 2.5 cups water.
  • Pressure cook for 3 whistles. Cool down and serve. Enjoy!
