Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rajgira flour (amaranth flour)
  • 1 Potato small (chopped)
  • ¼ Carrot chopped
  • 1 tsp Ghee clarified butter
  • tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds
  • Curry leaves few

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Saute for a few seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chopped potatoes and carrots. Cook for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add Rajgira flour to the pan and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat until the flour is roasted and turns aromatic.
  • Add water gradually while stirring continuously to achieve a smooth and thick consistency.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes until the upma is well-cooked and the flavors are infused.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve the flavorful Rajgira Upma hot and enjoy!
